Organizations in the community platform on the Riverscapes Consortium are helpful for:
- Associating events with an organization
- Keeping a partial list of "users who work here" and "users who worked here"
- Listing in your personal profile your work experience at a relevant organization
- Posting opportunities (e.g. jobs, internships, volunteer, mentoring, etc.) associated with an organization
Steps:
- Make sure your organization does not already exist in the system.
- Click the Create Organization button.
- Send an email to support@riverscapes.freshdesk.com with subject "New Organization Approval" and an administrator will approve your request or seek more information with 2-3 business days.
