Adding existing photos to a Phlux Series

You can easily add photos you've previously taken to a Phlux Series, whether that be from a mobile device not connected to Phlux, a DSLR or point and shoot camera, or even an historical image.

1. If using the Phlux phone or tablet app, add your image to the photo library of your device. If using the Phlux desktop app or web browser from your computer, find where you've saved the image from your file system.

2. Launch the Phlux app, then navigate to the Series you wish to add to (new or existing).

3. Click on the "Add Photo" icon, then rather than launching your camera click the "upload photo" icon which is located on the bottom right portion of the screen and looks like an arrow pointing up out of a drawer or paper tray.

4. Navigate to your image, either through the photo album structure on mobile or tablet, or through your file structure if on your computer.

5. Tap or click on your desired image, and you'll see it open in the editing screen of the Phlux app just like when you take a new image through your device's camera. Make an editing adjustments that you'd like, be it cropping or adding markers or notes.

6. Check the image date. Phlux attempts to read the "Date taken" property, but this is not always available, and if it uses the "Date Created" property, which file systems routinely overwrite. To fix the date, set  a custom date for the image, click the pencil icon that displays date and time. You can then manually set the date and time from which you'd like the image to be placed in the proper sequencing within your Phlux Series.

7. Save the image by clicking the check mark button in the lower right corner.

8. You should now see this image located in your desired chronology within the carousel of all of the images in your Series.

NOTE:

Phlux will also attempt to locate your series based on the first image uploaded to a series. You can edit the location of your series if this is incorrect.
